Ansemy adjusts its business unit structure to expand its product portfolio and accelerate growth

Post on Jan 01,1970

Ansemi (NASDAQ stock code: ON) announced the establishment of the Analog and Mixed Signal Division (AMG), led by newly appointed Division President Sudhir Gopalswamy. This business unit will focus on expanding Ansemy's industry-leading power management and sensor interface product portfolio, unlocking new markets worth $19.3 billion, and accelerating the company's growth in the automotive, industrial, and cloud markets.

In addition, Simon Keeton was promoted to the President of the Power Solutions Division (PSG). Under his leadership, the Power Solutions division had a total revenue of over $4 billion last year and accelerated the development of its Silicon Carbide (SiC) business, achieving over $800 million in revenue in 2023.

Hassane El Khoury, President and CEO of Ansemy, stated, "The restructuring of the group's architecture is based on our provision of highly differentiated optimization solutions that focus on meeting customer needs. With Simon and Sudhir's expertise and experience in the industry, we are laying the foundation for further growth and leadership in smart power and sensing technology."

The Analog and Hybrid Signal Division focuses on developing a range of power management ICs and high-precision, low-power sensor interfaces and communication products. This will make Ansemy a supplier capable of providing a complete and efficient power solution, further expanding its product portfolio to include gate drivers, DC-DC converters, multiphase controllers, electronic fuses, and other products. This business unit will continue to solidify Ansemy's leadership position in sensor interfaces and communication solutions in the automotive and industrial sectors, including inductive, ultrasonic, and medical sensors, as well as single pair Ethernet and low-power Bluetooth (Bluetooth LE) solutions.

The Analog and Mixed Signal Division merged the former Advanced Solutions Division (ASG) and the Integrated Circuit Division (ICD) under the Power Solutions Division. Gopalswamy will lead both the Simulation and Hybrid Signal Division and the Intelligent Sensing Division (ISG), both of which generated nearly $4 billion in revenue for the company last year.

This strategic initiative will consolidate Ansemy's industry position and strengthen various architectures by providing analog and mixed signal technology, achieving more advanced functions, higher performance, and faster time to market, and enhancing more system value for customers.

Ansemy will release its Q1 2024 financial report based on the restructured departmental structure and provide comparative historical data.
